Carinthia,
with its varied landscape and the scenery of mountains and lakes, is absolutely ideal for motorcyclists. The well-maintained roads and the combination with the beautiful views make motorcycling in Austria a special experience.
The famous Nochalmstrasse with its 26curves is a special experience (also for motorists). The route is open from May to September. Just going to Italy through different passes certainly makes it interesting. Please note that tolls can be levied for passes and tunnels.
Every year in August, Europe's largest Harley Davidson meeting is held at Lake Faaker.

For a golf holiday (5 minutes from us) you can travel to Patergassen with confidence. In the immediate vicinity is an 18-hole golf course where you can work on your handicap. In addition, a golf ball has less resistance due to the thinner air in the mountains, making it easier to hit further.

The Gurk Valley is an ideal destination for cyclists and mountain bikers. There are numerous mountain bike trails around Bad Kleinkircheim, including a flow trail.
For cyclists, there are several challenging climbs in the area. If this is a bit too much for you, you can venture on less demanding tours which can be done very well with the E-bike. If you have your own E-bike, you can charge it at our house

Bad Kleinkirchheim is the birthplace of wellness culture. The village even got its name from it (Bad). Despite the fact that Bad Kleinkirchheim was not owned by the Romans, you do get that feeling every now and then.
There are several spas and other wellness centers. The history of some baths goes back centuries. The most famous spas are Therme St. Kathrein and the Thermal Römerbad.
Bad Kleinkirchheim has received the Alpine Wellness label due to its history and current situation. A label that stands for utmost relaxation in the mountains.

The riding experience on the approximately 15 km with a max slope of 8 percent. The gravel-fixed track winds from the Kaiserburg mountain station (2,100 m) along the grade over forest and meadow areas about 910 meters deep in the valley.
Scooters, small feeders and steep curves provide variety. In 2 of the 4 sections, there are direct connections to the 4 Nock Lake trails.
Numerous alternative options offer beginners and advanced users simultaneous and safe use of the trail.
